*How NPK, Salinity is measured. NPK readings are derived estimates calculated from the probe's direct EC, moisture and temperature measurements using our soil algorithm — they are best used to track relative trends and spot imbalances between zones or over time. For critical fertiliser plans or compliance, we recommend confirming with a certified lab test.
How pH is measured. pH is an estimated value derived from the probe's electrochemical (voltage) response, together with other measured soil properties. It is not equivalent to a laboratory pH test and is best used to monitor relative change at a single location over time, or to compare readings between zones taken the same way — rather than as a precise standalone value. For critical soil management decisions, we recommend confirming results with a certified laboratory soil test.
EC, moisture and temperature are measured directly.
